The first horror movie ever made was released in the 1890s by a man named George Mellies. It was called “Le Manoir du Diable” which translates to “THouse of the Devil”. After this, the production of horror films massively increased in the 1900s. Resulting in the classics we hear of today like, Frankenstein, The Mummy, Dracula, and many more. Scary movies have come a long way since then with the help of CGI and lots of new technology. My personal favorites are It, Jeepers Creepers, and Eli. All three have classic characters that try to escape whatever supernatural force is after them. I’d definitely recommend them for this year's spooky season.
